How we schedule mid-quarter check-ins around Taiwan’s filing rhythm

Taiwan’s business-tax rhythm pushes intense work into odd months. That makes even months the quieter stretch for a mid-quarter ledger check-in.

We prefer the second week of the even month: payroll for the prior month has usually settled, bank statements have arrived, and there is still time to chase suppliers before the next odd-month crunch. The first week of an even month often collides with month-end close habits; the last week starts to feel like soft filing prep.

Bring a short list of known awkward items — a new product line, a deposit-heavy contract, a staff change affecting withholding — rather than asking for a general “look over everything.” Focused check-ins produce punch lists people actually finish.

Our filing calendar maps suggested check-in weeks against each quarterly window for the current year.
