How API Assist collects, uses, and retains personal data when you inquire about or engage tax readiness review for quarterly filing support.
Data controller

Data we collect
From contact forms and email: name, email address, message content, optional engagement interest, and target filing month. During engagements we may process business financial documents you provide; treat those as confidential client materials.
Purpose and legal basis
We use inquiry data to respond to requests and prepare estimates. We use engagement materials to perform the contracted review. Where required, processing rests on contract performance or legitimate interests in operating a professional practice, and on consent for optional analytics cookies (see cookies).
Retention
Inquiry messages are kept up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement or dispute. Engagement working papers are retained according to professional record-keeping needs, typically up to seven years, then securely deleted or anonymised where feasible.
Your rights
Subject to Taiwan personal data protection rules, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, and object to certain processing. Email hello@apiassist.digital with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity.
International transfers
Our primary operations are in Taiwan. If a processor outside Taiwan is used (for example email hosting), we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
Children
This site is directed at business contacts and is not intended for children under 16.
